FIRE NEXT TIME plays the folk-influenced, Strummer-worthy, left-leaning punk rock of Hot Water Music and the Clash, injected in the neck-vein of ideas, but with the atmosphere of a northern frozen wasteland and the mobility of an eternally damned punk rock band, set to tour the world forever: not in the sense of the ghouls and ghosts of the Misfits, but in the internal haunting spirits of Charles Bukowski. And that`s what sets them apart from their folk/punk brethren: a fundamental desire to embrace the darkness of the worlds, and words, of your inner soul, and a production value very much inherited from the bottom of it.
