“Horror Vacui” ir piecu cilvēku postpanka/death-roka grupa no Boloņas (Itālija), kuru 2011. gadā izveidoja vokālist Koppa. Grupa apvieno 80. gadu sākuma gotisko mūziku ar postpanku šausmu pieskaņu skanējumā. “In Darkness You Will Feel Alright”. “Corpus Delicti”, “Sisters of Mercy”, “Christian Death” un “Killing Joke” cienītāji atradīs pazīstamas noskaņas.
Visi pieci dalībnieki aktīvi darbojas DIY pankroka un underground scēnā un ir iesaistīti citos notiekošos projektos (Marthe, Vespertina, Bottomless, Assumption, Thysia).
Kopš dibināšanas Horror Vacui ir plaši koncertējuši Eiropā (2012., 2013., 2015., 2018.), ASV (2014., 2017.), Meksikā un Kolumbijā (2019.) un pavisam nesen Eiropā un Anglijā (2024., 2025.). Horror Vacui is a five-piece post-punk/death-rock band from Bologna (IT) formed by Koppa (vocals 2011 - ) Lucrezia (guitar 2023 - ) Gigi (Bass 2023 -) Marzia (drums 2011 -), Giorgio (guitar, 2026 -). Horror Vacui blends early ’80s goth with post-punk in a horror-tinged sound. Their name reflects a signature style built on tight, guitar-driven songs, singalong hooks and vocal lines many of which have become modern goth anthems as for In Darkness You Will Feel Alright. Fans of Corpus Delicti, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death and Killing Joke will find familiar ground but their catalog reaches far beyond nostalgia. Their lyrics explore identity, darkness, society and the human psyche with a raw, punk-rooted urgency that also defines their live presence and political ethos. Founded in 2011 by singer Koppa, HV emerged during the first wave of the modern post-punk revival, alongside underground bands of friends like The Estranged, Spectres, Belgrado, The Bellicose Minds and more. Since forming, Horror Vacui has toured extensively across Europe (2012, 2013, 2015, 2018), the U.S. (2014, 2017), Mexico and Colombia (2019) and most recently Europe and England (2024, 2025).

Over the years, HV released a wide range of formats (LPs, 7” singles, tapes, and a special six-cassette box set marking their 10th anniversary). Their releases have undergone multiple repressings and have been issued by several different labels (Avant! Records, Sabotage, HPGD, Black Water, Improved Sequence, and Agipunk). Following the pandemic and a lineup change, the band has just completed recording their fifth full-length album, slated for release in 2026 via Artoffact Records.
