Aircraft comes to Riga for a special live show at Club Depo.
Founded in Kyiv in 2011 by Ukrainian musician Danyil Merkulov, Aircraft has spent more than a decade shaping a distinctive blend of dream pop, shoegaze, synth-driven melancholy, and dark electronic textures. Following performances at ESNS, Fusion Festival, Kalabalik Festival, and shows across Europe, the project continues its journey with a live set spanning Aircraft’s fifteen-year catalogue.
The evening will also feature the live performance of Aircraft’s latest work, “Тигролови” (“Tiger Hunters”), a six-song conceptual journey through the emotional landscape of Ukraine. Drawing on history, folklore, cultural memory and the everyday experience of survival, the EP explores the forces that shape generations and the resilience required to endure them.
Joining Aircraft is Muuzi, a new talent in town and a true “vibe curator.” Involved in numerous projects and difficult to define by any single genre, Muuzi explores modern electronic music with a genuinely post-everything approach.
Also on the lineup is Vecera from Vilnius, the solo project of composer, producer and interdisciplinary artist Paulius Večera. Blending trip-hop, avant-pop, dream pop, techno and post-industrial textures, Vecera creates emotionally charged performances combining raw soundscapes, vocal processing, live guitar and an intense physical stage presence.
An evening of alternative pop, electronic textures, cultural memory and live experimentation.
